I am shocked to announce that there have been some naughty going ons at Tallulah Belle’s nursery.
A short while ago I found a cute little shoot that was unfamiliar to me. I looked in all my reference books and couldn’t find a species like it.
It was only once she started growing that I realized why.
It seems, my friends, that we have been having some illicit cross pollination going on in the middle of the night. Tut tut.
Polly Poppy was always the partying type but never in my wildest dreams did I think she’d be run off with Maurice mushroom.
And here she is… the hybrid offspring of this dubious dalliance who looks like she has inherited her Mothers promiscuous tendencies.
LOL Ooooooh she is just sooooo pretty! I love the colour and spots! Whata hybrid indeedy!
ReplyDeleteTruly fabulous work! :o)))

ReplyDeleteI was reading this to Nikki, while talking over the phone and we were both laughing our heads off. xxx
ReplyDeleteShe's a delight!! A real love child!
ReplyDeleteShe somehow reminds me of those 1:1 fritillaries which have a blue checkerboard pattern - where did *they* come from?
Brilliant! :)

ReplyDeleteI always thought fritillaries were orange and black spotted butterflies?
It is a pleasure to return to enter in your blog.
ReplyDeleteAfter a period of time, away from the minis, again with renewed hopes.
